Client Spotlight : Mentell
I’m excited to launch a new series of Client Spotlights, created to celebrate the incredible people and organisations I have the privilege of supporting through my bookkeeping practice. Each feature shines a light on the meaningful work my clients do, the missions that drive them, and the positive impact they’re making in their communities. It’s my way of saying thank you, sharing their stories, and showcasing the brilliant humans behind the businesses I’m proud to work with.

Mentell is a UK charity that provides men's groups for males aged 18+ to talk in a safe and confidential space, free from advice and judgement.
For thousands of years, men have gathered in circles to share stories with one another, build community and solve problems. Traditionally, this would take place around a fire, which creates a space for open conversation. The world has become a very busy place and these traditions have been mostly forgotten. As the use of technology has increased, the need for face to face communication has decreased. This has influenced today’s society in a way that people feel more isolated and unable to talk about serious issues. Mentell’s mission is to reconnect men with the circle, by offering every man the opportunity to talk. It is only through the combined effort and generosity of volunteer support that Mentell has been able to achieve so much already.
Members sit within the circle where sharing takes place. Everything has been designed to support men, in a safe, focused space. The Facilitators role is to hold space for the group and promote the 7 principles within the circle so all members can enjoy a safe and supportive experience. Made up of both employed and volunteer members, the support team works tirelessly behind the scenes to keep Mentell running outside of circle.
Mentell’s short term vision is to make circles accessible to men across the United Kingdom. The long term vision is to make circles accessible to men across the world, in different cultures and communities.

The Mentell May Ball is officially returning! After the incredible success of the last two events, this year's ball is set to be their biggest and most exciting yet.
